#Protest explores how a new generation expresses civic discontent, both on squares around the world and on the web. Alongside a new generation of Twitter uprisings, Facebook protests and hackers, the protests from the squatters' movement of the 1970s and 1980s are also featured.
In addition to the exhibition and the talks, a special publication was issued, which is available in a limited edition.
Shop windows of TAPE café, Loesje, Arnhems Keramiek Atelier and Miranda Afro Cosmetics, among others, were covered with special posters from the Dutch squatters' movement.
During the opening we organized a series of talks, including these speakers:
– Anoinette Reitsma (activist from previous generation).
– Quincy Gario (zwarte piet is racism)
– Matthijs Ponte (activist and philosopher)
