MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND
“MAKE MONEY, MIND ON MY MONEY AND MONEY ON MY MIND.”
Makes the world go round is a series of 5 typographic posters with a focus on digital versus manual. Hourly wages are always under discussion within the designer's and artist's profession. In this series, we explored these sometimes strained relations with hours and hours of handiwork using a digital print: "Make Money, Mind on my money, Money on my mind".
In the spirit of Pierre Janssen:
You may have been thinking: buying art is something for very special people. I write to you: not in the least. It is certainly not my intention to say that art is not something special. What I would like to argue is that art can give you great pleasure, even if you only ever have one art thing at your disposal. That is why the artists in the museum sell their works in the most ordinary way we could think of. You look, you choose, you pay and you can take it with you straight away.
